Expert Review:
Many regard this title as the best hand-held RPG that has been released in recent years. Set in the youth-driven shopping district of Shibuya in Tokyo, Japan, the plot deals with a battle between the world of the living and the world of the supernatural dead, known as "Reapers." Your character is Neku Sakuraba, an angsty teen-aged boy who provides hilarious dialogue and observations throughout the admittedly ridiculous plot. This game fully utilizes the DS's features, with gameplay that requires shouting into the microphone and rhythmically tapping the touch screen. Beginning gamers beware: there's a steep learning curve to the battle system that might seem disheartening at first. But stick with it and you'll be rewarded with a fantastic story that you won't regret pursuing.
